Companies need to stop treating ethics as a checkbox for the PR department and start building a robust AI ethics framework as a core part of their business strategy.
This means asking tough questions before deploying a new AI tool:
– Have we tested this model for bias?
– How are we protecting user data?
– What is the long-term impact on our employees and customers?
– Are we transparent about how and when we are using AI?
