These tools promise a kind of digital Switzerland—a neutral territory where logistics can be sorted without the emotional baggage. But as we hand over one of our most fraught and intimate forms of communication to a machine, we have to ask some hard questions. Can an AI truly understand the nuances of a toxic relationship? And what are the unseen consequences when a black box starts influencing custody, communication, and the day-to-day reality of raising a child?
The Algorithm in the Middle
